I think the 1950's will always be closely identified with science fiction films and there were some interesting TV projects from then as well. Kind of interesting how the development of atomic weapons, jet engines and rockets seemed to stimulate UFO sightings and the imaginations of many writers and producers.
Tales Of Tomorrow was an anthology series long before such classics as One Step Beyond, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, etc. Making its debut on ABC in the summer of 1951, Tales of Tomorrow was live TV for the most part. 85 episodes were aired during its nearly two year run. 40 of them found here.
